Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Optimization to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role will play a critical part in advancing SunStream's digital and product orientation transformation efforts by enhancing product delivery, fostering collaboration across programs and teams, and optimizing our technological capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agile methodologies, product management, and cloud-based fintech platforms and be adept at driving organizational change and innovation in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with SunStream's digital transformation goals and enhances our product and service delivery capabilities.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Foster strong collaboration between product, technology, security, and customer teams to drive platform optimization and integration, ensuring seamless delivery of our fintech solutions.
- Agile and DevOps Optimization: Champion and refine our Agile SAFe framework and delivery model to increase efficiency, adaptability, and speed to market for new products and features.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize our world-class data lake and advanced analytics capabilities to inform product development strategies, improve customer satisfaction, and manage costs effectively.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Work closely with the Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences by identifying opportunities to optimize product delivery and service management.
- Cost Management and Efficiency: Develop strategies to manage operational costs while maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring that product and service offerings are both innovative and cost-effective.
- Security Integration: Collaborate with the security team to integrate robust security practices within product development, ensuring all platforms and products adhere to SunStream's security standards, including our VCISO product offerings.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement in product development, delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or transformation roles within IT managed services, fintech, or related industries.
- Proven experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, particularly within a hybrid cloud environment (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and with fintech platforms (e.g., Fiserv, Infor, OneStream).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including SAFe frameworks, and experience in optimizing Dev/Sec/Ops models.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leveraging data analytics and data lakes (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Databricks) to drive strategic decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a strong focus on delivering value to customers.
