What You'll Do: As the Director of Project Management, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations, manage field teams, optimize workflows, and uphold our commitment to safety and quality standards.Your Accountabilities in the Role:
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees all operational activities, ensuring effective execution of fire/security projects and services.
  • Supervises, supports, and motivates a project and field team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Schedules and manages service projects, installations, and inspections to ensure timely deliveries within scope and budget.
  • Maintains and enforces quality control procedures to meet industry regulations, codes, and customer expectations.
  • Works closely with finance to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for clients to address issues, manage expectations, and build lasting relationships.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and reduce operational inefficiencies.
Position Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 3+ years of operations management experience preferably within fire protection, security, or related industry. Knowledge of fire/safety regulations is a plus.
  • Certifications: N/a
  • Functional Skills: Strong planning, prioritizing organization skills. Strong attention to detail and execution skills. Strong time management and scheduling skills; ability to manage various projects at one time; ability to conceptualize and problem solve. Ability to manage and adhere to a budget.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient technology skills with experience in scheduling software and CRM systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information.
  • Leadership/ Behaviors: Strong leadership skills with ability to develop, mentor and coach others; ability to motivate others. High customer focus and forward thinking. Strong networking and relationship building skills. Ability to analyze situations and provide thoughtful recommendations.

Reports To: General ManagerCore Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8 hours within this timeframe)Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends [& OT] required (when applicable); 40 - 45 hours a week on averageDirect Reports: 5Travel: Approximately 30-40% in the local area.
