About the role:
The University of Washington Tacomas (UWT) Psychological and Wellness Services (PAWS) provides high quality and timely mental health services and health promotion programming for UW Tacoma students. The Director of Psychological and Wellness Services leads a team of clinicians, health promotion specialist, doctoral level clinical and counseling psychology trainees, and student affairs professionals in developing and implementing a unit plan that meets the needs of UW Tacomas diverse student population and that uses rigorous assessment to demonstrate outcomes and guide future planning. The position has responsibility for daily operations of Psychological and Wellness Services, including financial management and ensuring that programs and services comply with applicable statutes, regulations, accreditation requirements, and professional standards. The position serves as the lead campus consultant on student mental health. As such, the position is highly impactful to the overall student experience and health and wellbeing.
