This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent will lead the Office of Public Engagement within the Office of the Presidential Libraries (P) of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The incumbent is responsible for envisioning, facilitating, managing and executing national exhibition, public programming, education and communications initiatives and coordinated public-facing projects for the Presidential Library system.You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service . Specialized experience for this position includes:Managing a public engagement program at a large museum, cultural or historical institution, or Presidential Library including exhibitions, public programming, and education;AND Overseeing audience testing and research regarding exhibitions, education or public programs;AND Preparing presentation materials for executives and organizational leadership and presenting materials to internal and external stakeholders/giving presentations regarding museum curation, exhibit design, public programming, education and/or communications;AND Experience serving as a project manager responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and implementing complex projects, including budget requests;AND Overseeing strategic external communications for a museum, library, historical institution or Presidential Library.#J-18808-Ljbffr
