Our client, Management Services Organization, is part of a group of long-term care affiliates that provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long-term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services, and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care. Collectively, it empowers over 18,000 patients, residents, and members to live forward every day. It is seeking a full-time Sr. Director of Purchasing & Logistics to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for oversight of the Purchasing & Logistics Departments.

Large healthcare organizations include Assisted Living, Independent Living, Nursing Home, Home Care, MLTC and more. It is located in Riverdale, Bronx, NY and it provides free and assigned parking.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director of Purchasing & Logistics who will be reporting to the CFO, has overall responsibility for the procurement, purchasing, logistics and asset management functions in the organization. This position will oversee the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures in these areas.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, seven (7) years of progressive experience in procurement and purchasing, logistics, and asset management in a healthcare facility required.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience required. Experience in preparing and administering budgets is required.
• The ability to add value by improving processes through the development of strong internal control procedures is essential to this position.
• Experience working in a unionized environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft is required.
• Must be able to speak, write, and read English.

Compensation: $125,000 min - $150,000 max Annually
