Job DetailsLevelExperiencedJob LocationBeverly Farm Foundation - Godfrey, IL - Godfrey, ILSalary Range$70,000.00 - $73,000.00 SalaryDescriptionBeverly Farm Foundation is a loving, caring home for adults with developmental disabilities, providing each individual with physical and emotional security and a dignified quality of life, with opportunities and challenges, within each individual's functional capabilities.GENERAL SUMMARY: Promotes, garners, and assesses commitment to continuous quality improvement of the programs and services by coordinating internal compliance reviews and monitoring activities; developing and implementing responsive staff training programs to advance compliance as well as acting as an internal resource on matters relating to regulatory compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESincludes the following.Other duties may be assigned.
  • Establishes monitors and oversees systems that prevent or reduce potential compliance issues of programs/services to include the incident analysis.
  • Establishes criteria for the measurements of program quality and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Recommend and assist with drafting changes and creating new policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts periodic risk assessments in areas related to regulatory compliance and recommends or initiates appropriate remedial action.
  • Coordinates the implementation of quality record review policies and procedures and directs the review of case files to assure effective utilization of services and compliance with documentation standards. Writes narrative and statistical reports on utilization review.
  • Conducts/coordinates needs assessments and satisfaction surveys to obtain input for improving services and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Acts as an advocate of the compliance program among directors, managers, and staff and provide guidance on compliance matters. Reviews the agency strategic plan, trends in human services, and develops/revises systems to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collects, analyzes and reviews statistical data of services provided to determine effectiveness/quality. Coordinates the annual program evaluation of quality outcomes meeting.
  • Monitor's safety compliance including accident/incident analysis, emergency planning, required training related to safety and required recordkeeping.
  • Evaluates production/service contract implementation to ensure continuous quality improvement in the efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction of services.
  • Completes tracking and trending of surveys and corrective actions, including coordinating, training and supporting personnel through the process.
  • Recommends or formulates training methods, policies, procedures, programs, schedules/calendars and other essential initiatives geared towards enhancing staff knowledge base in the area of quality improvement.
  • Provides supervision and support to the Training Manager to ensure that training systems are effective and maintained and assist with the Human Rights Coordinator when it comes to Admissions and protection of Resident's rights.
  • Responsible for implementation of electronic medical records systems and acts as the primary point with system administrators.
  • Provides status reports on Continuous Quality Improvement activities to operational leadership.
  • Attends meetings and participates on committees related to Continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact and liaison for regulatory bodies to include onsite surveys.
  • * Participates in research, planning sessions, Adhoc Committees and Special Projects.
  • * Perform other duties as assigned.
Mental Demands:Must organize, communicate, analyze data, evaluate, follow-up multiple activities. Position requires strong interpersonal and professional communication, presented through written, oral and through multi-media. In performing duties, the employee frequently uses hand-to-fingers movement. Physical activities, such as standing, writing on blackboards, talking, listening and mediating discussions in a group setting, occur frequently. The employee may also be involved in movements that require strength, agility, and mobility for pulling, carrying, or lifting 20-25 pounds.Equipment:Employee is required to utilize a telephone and audio-visual equipment: projection equipment, camera, flip chart/white board or blackboard, etc. Operates or utilizes computer equipment for developing presentations, word processing, data management and recordkeeping. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation, Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field.Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) eligible.Certified to train adults in areas of CPR, First Aid, etc.Strong knowledge of employment programs, regulatory requirements of the Department of Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities, and accreditation requirements.Ability to work as a team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, 7-8 years management, coordinator or training experience.5 years of supervisory experience. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers as well as employees.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of training.Ability to organize and analyze statistical data and prepare comprehensive reports, as required.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.EMPLOYEE CERTIFICATION:This description documents the general contents and requirements of the job.
