Job Description:
Wilson Health is seeking a dynamic Director of Quality. The Director will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating all areas involving quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance for our hospital operations. Key Perks and Benefits:

The Value You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management program that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee hospital QUAPI Plan development, review, revision, and implementation.
  • Coordinate and manage all quality reporting: Anthem Scorecard, Leapfrog, ODH Annual Hospital Registration, AHA Annual Survey, OHA Hospital Information/Innovation Network (HIIN), etc.
  • Manage and oversee the incident reporting system for all areas of Wilson Health. Log and trend incident reports, identify and address problems and or patterns that emerge from this review.
  • Oversee Stroke Ready Program by monitoring metrics and providing support to the program coordinator.
  • Serve as Wilson Health Compliance Officer.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, streamline processes, and reduce costs. Develop, review, and revise policies related to Quality Management and Patient Safety.
  • Collaborate with leaders to establish quality metrics, benchmarks, and performance goals.
  • Conduct and manage audit and assessment process to evaluate compliance with regulatory and quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Coordinates preparation for announced and unannounced accreditation or CMS surveys.
  • Provide leadership to interdisciplinary teams involved in quality improvement projects.
  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on quality management principles and best practices.
  • Analyze data and trends to track performance, identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Cultivate and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, initiatives, and outcomes to senior leadership, regulatory agencies, and accrediting bodies.
  • Develop the department budget for staffing and capital expenses and ensure that the department operates within allocated funds.
  • Responsible for management, oversight, direction, and evaluation of employees in the Quality Department.
The Expertise and Experience You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must have prior Quality/Risk Management leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards relevant to healthcare organizations.
  • Certification in Risk Management or Healthcare Quality or willing to obtain within two years of hire.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments, meet tight deadlines, coordinate, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and drive results in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Ability to leverage technology and systems to communicate and maximize efficiency. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
