Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Director is responsible for leading our company's efforts in sourcing, attracting, hiring, and integrating top. This role is pivotal in building a strong workforce that aligns with company culture and business goals. This role will develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, employer branding, and new employee onboarding.
This position will lead a team of Recruiters and will be responsible for providing weekly and monthly metrics on all recruitment & retention processes.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to identify, attract, and hire top talent, including employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing.
- Lead the talent acquisition team, setting high performance standards and aligning recruitment practices with strategic objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of an effective onboarding program that ensures a smooth integration process for new hires.
- Partner with department leaders to understand current and future hiring needs, developing tailored recruitment plans to meet these requirements.
- Lead the Recruiting team through managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and interviewing to offer negotiation and hiring, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
- Identify, develop, and manage all talent acquisition metrics, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging in the recruitment and onboarding processes, fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- Stay informed about trends, innovations, and best practices in talent acquisition and onboarding, continuously improving our processes and approaches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition/ Recruiting.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing talent acquisition and onboarding strategies within the logistics/supply chain industry.
- Experience using UKG
- Experience in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of employment law and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10%-20% of the time.
