It communicates and interprets organizational and departmental mission goals and objectives to all areas of responsibility and provides leadership and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation activities of all areas of Supply Chain and Logistics. Develops, implements, and monitors strategies for supply cost reduction and utilization management. Manages projects of considerable scope and designs and delivers services in partnership with our internal and external customers.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred: Master's degree.CertificationPreferred: Supply Chain Certification.Work ExperienceRequired: 5 years management experience including 5 years of proven supply chain, logistics and leadership experience in progressively senior positions in healthcare.Demonstrated proficiency in the following key competencies: execution, emotional intelligence, innovation, and visionary.Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain theory and practice.Demonstrated experience with a materials management information system (MMIS), preferably Lawson.Experience with managing and leading supply team members in a multiple hospital system.Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain theory and practice.Excellent time management skills and self-directed.Demonstrates good judgment.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent leadership and delegation skills.Job DutiesEnsures quality of care & patient satisfaction through oversight of policies, procedures, and improvement initiatives.Builds an engaged workforce through leadership, talent development and collaborative employee relationships.Directs and manages the delivery of optimal supply management and logistics services at multiple facilities.Ensures operational profitability with sound financial performance.Develops and achieves long-term strategic business plans through effective relationship building, communication, planning, and cost management.Identifies, designs, and implements strategies to improve service and reduce costs, monitors and reports performance metrics.Performs other related duties as assigned.Other related duties as required.
