Director of Rehabilitation (Therapy)Location: Colorado Springs, ColoradoFacility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)Employment Type: Full-timeOverview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Director of Rehabilitation (Therapy) to lead our multidisciplinary therapy team and ensure exceptional patient care at our skilled nursing facility. As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will oversee the therapy department, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing clinical outcomes, and driving operational efficiency.Responsibilities:· Leadership and Managemento Provide oversight and guidance to physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, therapy assistants, and rehabilitation staff.o Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and productivity.o Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.· Program Developmento Design and implement therapy programs tailored to residents' needs and rehabilitation goals.o Monitor clinical outcomes and maintain high-quality standards of care.o Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal care coordination.· Compliance and Documentationo Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.o Oversee accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in compliance with payer requirements and clinical protocols.o Participate in audits, reviews, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives.· Operations and Financialso Monitor department budget and productivity metrics.o Analyze data to track program outcomes and implement adjustments as necessary.o Drive revenue growth by identifying service line expansion opportunities.Qualifications:· Required Education & Credentials:o Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in [state] or eligible for licensure.o Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in relevant therapy field.· Experience:o Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care.o Strong knowledge of Medicare reimbursement systems (PDPM) and therapy regulations.· Skills:o Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.o Proven ability to foster teamwork and mentor staff.o Proficient in therapy software systems and data analysis.Why Join Our Team?· Collaborative and supportive work environment.· Opportunity to drive clinical excellence and improve residents' quality of life.· Competitive salary, benefits, and professional growth opportunities.How to Apply: If you are passionate about leading a team that makes a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply!
