As a Director of Resin Procurement your responsibilities will be:

* Manage current procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency.

* Develop and execute sourcing and vendor relations strategies that supports the fast-paced growth of the overall organization and aligns with CNG's sustainability initiatives.

* Develop and lead a best-in-class Procurement team to procure materials for a growing range of products.

* Design, develop, and monitor departmental processes to ensure top-level performance in Key Performance Indicators and implement appropriate continuous improvement activities.

* Collaborate with the businesses and functional leadership to develop procurement strategies for key materials purchased, bringing both global and regional functional expertise as well as deep market and industry knowledge.

* Speak to the market conditions and translate them into actionable planning to compliment business specific strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.

* Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long term goals for the department.

* Act as the departmental liaison and/or project leader in collaboration with other functional leaders on critical projects and company initiatives.

* Analyze market trends (cost drivers and polymers) to identify financial and supply risks and opportunities.

* Develop an understanding of resin purchase optimization by leveraging spend and pricing methodologies utilized in Resins/Plastics.

A strong Director of Resin Procurement will possess:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field

* 15+ years of procurement or related experience

* 5+ years in a Leadership role

* Knowledge or experience with film extrusion and/or manufacturing required

* Results-oriented, metrics driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, project leadership, and people development.

* Ability to influence and build strong relationship with both internal and external business partners

* Solid analytical and computer skills

* Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
