Job Description:

Revenue Operations leader is to unify and align the operations, systems, and data that support revenue teams along the entire revenue cycle to generate consistent and scalable growth. They will collaborate closely with leaders across our GTM teams to effectively plan, forecast, create visibility, and align GTM processes to optimize both the top and bottom line The ideal candidate will be a methodical and critical thinker with a strong attention to detail, allowing them to operate effectively across all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience both strategically and technically across the entire value chain, including but limited to lead generation, lead nurturing, lead management, lead scoring, CRM integrations, marketing and sales automation, sales pipeline management, CRM to ERP integration, demand planning, channel management, and more. This position will lead efforts on GTM data analysis and reporting for the company and act as a steward of the systems that support this.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the revenue operations process, from lead generation to customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and account management teams to align efforts and maximize ROI of customer relationships.
  • Own data governance for the GTM teams, creating, evolving, and enforcing best practices, terminology, definitions, SOPs, documentation, and source reports to maximize performance and efficient scaling.
  • Be a critical stakeholder and resource for data cleansing and management, and ensure continuity across marketing, finance, and operational systems
  • Cultivate the data and analytics to drive growth, including establishing and tracking key metrics across all phases of the company value stream, including demand planning within the ERP system.
  • Uncover opportunities to leverage organizational capabilities and position, enhancing apparent value proposition, and expanding market growth potential.
  • Play a lead role in the ongoing improvement of the order-to-cash process by exploring system improvements and fulfillment optimization strategies.
  • Leverage data visualization and other methods to turn the numbers into insights and a story to help drive consensus and action.
  • Create dashboards for GTM departments and individuals that deliver key information that drives increased efficiency and performance, including full-funnel performance, C/W and C/L analysis, territory management, channel management, etc.
  • Define the ideal data segmentations necessary and help ensure all elements of the tech stack are formatted to allow for data to be pulled across these segments.
  • Own the integration and performance of relevant elements of the tech stack. Act as a key stakeholder in the implementation of the CRM and automation tools, and the continued optimization of the ERP.
  • Partner with other marketing team members to create full-funnel, multi-channel, multi-touch attribution.
  • Act as a conduit between funnel performance and overall company performance and strategy. Do not just serve up the data but apply critical thinking to both continuously refine it and distill it into actionable insights to propel the company forward as a leader of integrated energy technology.
  • Connect the data to the customer journey; partner with the team to leverage this data in optimization
  • Enable the entire company to be data stewards as well, creating SOPs, training, dashboards, SLAs, etc. necessary to ensure active engagement.
  • Perform audits of marketing and sales tech stacks and the data in those stacks to create recommendations for continuous improvement. Act as a champion of productivity and efficiency, evaluating the ideal routes to growth across tech, process, and people to ensure optimized resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, account management, finance, operations, and product to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, innovations, and best practices in revenue operations.

Requirements and skills

  • 10-15 years of experience in revenue operations or a related field
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience using data and analytics to improve performance.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, such as customer relationship management systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and the company s target audience and goals
  • Ability to conduct market and customer research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the revenue operations field, and a willingness to continuously improve and develop skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
