Sales Leader to hunt for new logos in the BFS sector

Position Summary:
Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join their banking and financial services team, focusing on selling consulting services to BFS clients and acquiring new logos. This role is a direct sales position that will report to the SVP Business Unit and work closely with the segment leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the BFS market, a hunter mentality, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BFS market, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding the client base.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in potential client organizations.
- Sales Process: Own the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring the creation of world-class, differentiated proposals.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to position our offerings effectively and gain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary global team, including subject matter experts, inside sales, marketing, executive management, and partners to deliver customized solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in selling consulting services, with a focus on the BFS market.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying sales role, with a history of exceeding sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Skills: Strong consultative selling skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Post Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA degree preferred.
- Location: Must be based in the Northeast USA and willing to travel as needed.

Compensation:
- Base Salary: Up to $200,000
- Bonus: $250,000 (capped)
- OTE potential $450K
