Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Buffalo Lodging Associates. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

We are currently looking for a Director of Sales to join our team! Our Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Brockton/Easton features 88 all-suite rooms with full kitchens. Our guests are greeted with genuine hospitality by a dedicated team committed to providing a clean and safe environment.

Role: The primary role of the Director of Sales is to participate in outside sales calls and revenue production for the hotel, meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for RevPar, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR). A hands-on approach is essential for securing, qualifying, and following up on leads to book clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively sell room nights through public relations, advertising, sales blitzes, direct mail campaigns, and other promotional programs.
  • Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of all hotels in the competitive set and develop marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a sales and marketing plan and budget with the General Manager to maximize room revenue.
  • Forecast occupancy fluctuations and direct selling activities to maximize revenues.

  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related management experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with analyzing profit and loss statements and other financial data is essential.
  • Understanding of guest service concepts, practices, and procedures used by the company is necessary.
  • Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
  • Marriott experience is preferred.
