Role:
- Scarlett Hotel Group is looking for an energetic, focused, self-starter to lead the sales efforts for the Fairfield Inn & Suites Kansas City - Gladstone. This role requires active engagement with the KC - Gladstone business community as well as local, area and regional industry organizations. Developing and growing business relationships is critical for property success, so continuous networking and business development activities are a priority. This role directly reports to the property General Manager with a dotted line report to the VP, Sales & Marketing.
Hotel Director of Sales Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives.
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, support, and training.
- Oversee the customer service function to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients.
- Drive business development efforts to expand market share and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goals.
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within sales and marketing.
- Strong background in technical sales or technology sales preferred.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively foster a positive work environment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
- Experience in account management and outside sales.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM software.
