Guests can enjoy the luxury of over 200 beautifully renovatedguest rooms, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay. Conveniently located within 15 miles of downtownRichmond, our prime location offers easy access to the city's attractions. Position Overview:The Sales Director plays a pivotal role in driving sales revenue, maximizing occupancy, and promotingthe hotel's hospitality services. Their strategic leadership, sales expertise, and customer-focusedapproach are essential for achieving business objectives and ensuring the success of the hotel's salesefforts across all areas of operation.Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to boost hotel rooms, catering services,and food and beverage outlets. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identifyopportunities for growth and innovation.Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, andother potential customers. Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and site tours to showcase hotel facilities, cateringservices, and food and beverage offerings.Revenue Generation:

 Maximize occupancy rates and average daily rates (ADR) through effective pricing strategies andrevenue management techniques. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of hotel amenities, catering packages, anddining experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.Team Leadership and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise the sales team, including sales managers, coordinators, and supportstaff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, andprofessional growth.Marketing and Promotion: Work with corporate marketing partners to develop and execute marketing campaigns andpromotional activities to drive awareness and demand for hotel accommodations, cateringservices, and food and beverage offerings. Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, advertisements, and onlinecontent. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hoteland its hospitality services.Financial Management: Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field(preferred). Proven experience in hotel sales, catering sales, food and beverage sales, or hospitalitymanagement, with a focus on sales and revenue generation. Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Knowledge of hotel operations, catering services, food and beverage trends, and revenuemanagement principles. Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
