What You'll Do

As the Director of Spa and Wellness, you will:

  • Develop protocols for all spa services and design a profitable retail operation while ensuring a luxurious guest experience.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of associates delivering spa services, including skin care, nail services, massage, and locker room operations.
  • Evaluate and maintain spa equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and good condition for all tools such as steamers, massage tables, pedicure chairs, and UV sterilizers.
  • Manage spa cleanliness, safety, and compliance with loss prevention policies and sanitation standards.
  • Oversee retail operations, including product evaluation and enhancements, merchandising, and associate incentive programs for upselling and commissions.
  • Monitor supply and equipment inventories, staying within budget while ensuring associates have the necessary tools and uniforms.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive knowledge of spa services, luxury spa products, and operating procedures, including skincare, nail care, and wellness programs.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in P&L analysis, operating budgets, and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication, conflict management, and customer relationship skills.
  • Leadership and training abilities to effectively manage labor productivity and develop team talent.
  • Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards (OSHA, EPA, ADA).
  • Experience in a freestanding spa, resort, or health facility, with a high school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
