**Job Description**

Our Director of Station Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of airport station operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused service delivery. This role involves coordinating with airlines, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of passenger and cargo services, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, ground support, and fueling in the applicable locations. You will be tasked with implementing operational strategies and processes to optimize resource utilization, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Additionally, they are responsible for staff management, training, and development, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the airport environment.

**WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A DIRECTOR OF STATION OPERATIONS**

+ Oversee all aspects of station operations including passenger services, baggage handling, ground support, and fueling in the applicable locations

+ Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and safe airport station functioning

+ Manage and lead a diverse team of operational staff, setting goals and evaluating performance

+ Coordinate with airline partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders for smooth operations

+ Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and safety standards

+ Monitor operational processes and implement improvements for increased efficiency

+ Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for station operations

+ Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and ensure high service standards

+ Respond to and manage any operational emergencies or disruptions

+ Analyze data and reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

+ Foster a customer-focused culture, ensuring a positive experience for passengers

+ Collaborate with other departments to optimize inter-departmental workflows and communications

+ Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in airport operations

+ Lead strategic planning for future growth and development of station operations

+ Ensure maintenance and upkeep of airport facilities and equipment

Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

+ Strong understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email

+ Demonstrate the following competencies: Problem-Solving, Customer Service, Interpersonal, Oral Communication

+ Carry out other duties as assigned

+ Work in an office environment

+ Physical activity may include:

+ Stand and walk for extended periods of time

+ Ability to lift 70 pounds or more

+ Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment

+ Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

**Qualifications**

+ 18 years of age or older

+ Eligible to work in the United States

+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

+ Must have reliable transportation
