- Annual 15% bonus incentive
- 2% raises every July

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Sterile Processing to oversee the operations of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) in an acute care hospital setting. This individual will manage a team of approximately 30 FTEs, including supervisors and sterile processing techs. This is an exciting growth opportunity as the role will initially oversee one hospital, with plans to expand to a second hospital in the coming year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring high-quality, efficient services.
- Manage and coach a team of 3-4 supervisors and 30+ sterile processing technicians, both certified and non-certified.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain strong communication between SPD staff and hospital leadership.
- Promote continuous improvement and employee development through feedback and training programs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, patient care, and operational standards.
- Participate in hospital committees and provide input on departmental and hospital-wide initiatives.
- Ensure the effective use of resources, managing the fiscal responsibility for the department.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
- Proven experience in a Director-level role within a Sterile Processing Department at an acute care hospital.
- Experience managing teams of 20-30+ FTEs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to oversee operations and manage both staff and financial resources.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
