Job Description:
We are a new and innovative health club seeking a Director of Strategy & Implementation (DSI). The DSI is a key leader responsible for driving the success and growth of the luxury health club through strategic decision-makingand business intelligence. This role focuses on the development of new initiatives, refining existing processes, and leveraging data analytics to enhance overall club performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen in the fitness industry, particularly in process analysis, performance benchmarking, and strategic planning. This position will work closely with the General Manager and cross-functional teams to implement insights, optimize operations, and elevate the member experience.Key Responsibilities
Analyze performance metrics to provide actionable insights that drive sales, improve member experience, and enhance overall business outcomes. Identify causes of underperformance and implement tailored solutions to address them. Conduct comprehensive before-and-after analyses to assess the effectiveness of new strategies and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in club operations, processes, and interventions. Develop or enhance reports featuring key performance indicators to optimize operational performance. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to improve club functions, from fitness and marketing to sales and IT. Communicate and implement club policies, procedures, and promotional initiatives to ensure team alignment and smooth execution. Support company programs and events designed to drive new membership sales and overall business growth. Collaborate with departments such as Fitness, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Vendor Management to achieve club objectives. Maintain a deep understanding of competitor offerings and market trends to stay ahead in the industry. Lead and inspire staff, setting a positive example and driving revenue growth per member. Ensure all standard operating procedures and policies are upheld, continually refining them to meet business needs.Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required. At least 5 years of experience in the fitness industry, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights and data-informed decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings in a clear, actionable manner. Business-savvy with the ability to align data insights with broader strategic goals. Demonstrated experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse groups. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with teams across various functions. Proactive, innovative thinker with a decisive approach to problem-solving. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
