Job Description:

Overview: Genuine Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Systems and Compliance to develop and implement systems and processes for our accounts. This role will be crucial in ensuring compliance across the company by developing, training, and creating monitoring systems and audits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food service management or multi-unit restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Development:
  • Design and implement efficient systems and processes for managing accounts and operations across the organization.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure systems are user-friendly and meet organizational needs.
  • Continuously assess and improve existing systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Training and Development:
  • Develop comprehensive training programs for staff on new and existing systems and processes.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure all employees are proficient in the use of systems and understand compliance requirements.
  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation.
  • Monitoring and Auditing:
  • Establish monitoring systems to track compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions based on audit findings to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Compliance Management:
  • Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards and adjust company processes accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to departments to ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead a team of system analysts and compliance specialists, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders to report on compliance status and system performance.
  • Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in food service management or multi-unit restaurant operations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and auditing practices in the food service industry.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with compliance management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in food service management and compliance.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food service industry.
