BRC is seeking a visionary Director of Talent Management and Leadership Development to spearhead our organization's growth in leadership capabilities, performance management, and talent development strategies. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in designing and implementing comprehensive leadership programs and fair, inclusive performance appraisal systems across all organizational levels. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align talent management initiatives with BRC's mission and values, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. The successful candidate must possess excellent facilitator engagement, analytical skills, a deep understanding of organizational development principles, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams in a non-profit, social services environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fair, inclusive performance appraisal systems, focusing on efficient goal setting and continuous quality conversations.
Work closely with clinical and operations leadership to analyze performance factors, identify gaps, and improve performance systematically. Support the implementation of strategic professional development activities. Assess and predict talent needs as the organization grows.
Conduct employee job satisfaction surveys in partnership with the VP. Perform statistical analysis, generate reports, and explore innovative ways to enhance employee retention.
Develop, lead and manage a comprehensive leadership development program for early, mid-career, and senior leaders.
Create the full suite of leadership development programs and experiences aligned to BRCs defined competencies, starting with first-time people leaders and expanding to senior leadership and executive leadership.
Develop tailored leadership plans using internal and external resources to address skill gaps. Implement a progressive program supporting team members throughout their BRC careers.
Collaborate with the VP of Professional Development and Training to oversee talent review procedures, employee surveys, and performance analytics.
Execute projects with strong management skills, including monitoring work-plans, managing milestones, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining appropriate communication.
Establish and grow the Talent Management and Leadership function, laying the groundwork for future team expansion.
Related duties as assigned.

Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm (Hybrid 3 days in the office)
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in organizational development, education or related field and 5 Year experience creating, leading, and facilitating management and professional development sessions for leaders at every level of an organization required.
Masters degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or equivalent strongly preferred.
Management experience required.
Advanced knowledge of learning and development methodology and strategy, program/curriculum design, mentoring, facilitation, organizational development, and consulting.
Exhibit strong strategic and critical thinking abilities.
Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional relationships and priorities.
Excel in collaboration and partnership-building.
Strong command of Microsoft Office skills and ability to produce deliverables:
In Excel, aggregate data, complete complex analysis, and display results visually
In PowerPoint, curriculum presentation, and translating data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience; make clear and easily actionable asks.
In Word, create clear, concise, professional written communications with a user-friendly layout that's conducive to cognition.
Social services, not for profit, or related experience or demonstrated understanding preferred.
Travel required within NYC boroughs.
