The Opportunity: West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Director of Transfer, Online, and Lifelong Learning in the Admissions Department. The Director of Transfer, Online, and Lifelong Learning is responsible for leading the recruitment, admissions, and credit evaluation processes for online, transfer, adult, and readmitted students. The Director will also oversee the development and implementation of a robust credit evaluation process to ensure timely and accurate transfer credit assessments. Essential Functions of the position:
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans for target student populations.
- Oversee the admissions process, ensuring efficiency and student support.
- Develop a robust credit evaluation process to ensure timely and accurate transfer credit assessments.
- Manage the credit evaluation process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with program requirements.
- Assist with on campus recruitment programming needs as well as the development of marketing strategies and materials.
- Rebuild and maintain partnerships with local colleges and other institutions.
- Continue to update and develop articulation agreements to facilitate seamless transfers.
- Monitor and analyze enrollment data to inform decision making and strategy adjustments.
- Advocate for the needs and interests of online, transfer, adult, and readmitted students within the institution.
- Coordinate all transfers, adult and readmitted student registration.
- Develop orientation programs specifically for online and adult students.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education, student affairs, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in higher education, with focus on recruitment, admissions, or student services.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of online education and transfer processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships.
