POSITION SUMMARY:
Dominium is looking for a Director of Treasury. Seeking a leader with expertise in cash and debt forecasting, liquidity, and yield and cash management. In addition to maintaining key banking relationships, this position also oversees cash flow forecasting and management, debt compliance and lender reporting. Effectively communicates across all departments to manage company resources for execution of organizational initiatives. Oversees an internal lending arm of approximately $350 million in assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Implements and monitors enterprise capital strategy and plan on both short-term and long-term basis.
* Oversees the management of organization liquidity on a daily basis to ensure availability of resources to meet the organization's unimpeded needs and objectives.
* Plays a primary role in treasury specific and organizational forecasting initiatives, as both a key contributor of information as well as a user of the resulting forecast.
* Manages investment opportunities for surplus enterprise cash to Executive team as funds become available. Communicates and coordinates draw and repayment requests on organizational lines of credit with external lending partners.
* Responsible for all banking administration and access management. Cultivate relationships with banks, and oversee day-to-day banking functions including but not limited to opening and closing bank accounts and adding, removing, and maintaining bank signatories.
* Manages, reallocates, and maintains organization deposits across evolving lending relationships.
* Interacts closely with internal Capital Markets department to communicate forecasted availability of funds and coordinates investment of available enterprise liquidity into upcoming development project financing needs.
* Manages internal transaction financing activity - Communicates, offers, and prepares LOIs (Letters of Intent) to Development Partners for debt and equity financing originated with internal enterprise liquidity. Manages matures and cycling of debt and equity advances.
* Provides consistent, reoccurring reporting and forecasting on enterprise liquidity and on investing activity of the internal lending arm.
* Responsible for completion of enterprise operating line of credit management, and compliance reporting.
* Prepares presentations, reports, and analyses for Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 6+ years of proven experience in finance, treasury or related field
* 3+ experience in cash forecasting and liquidity management
* Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Treasury related field
* Experience in managing and developing others
* Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations
* Knowledge of multifamily and/or affordable housing development financing a plus
