Summary:
The goal of the Senior Director of Operations is to be an onsite leader and direct leadership and team-members to achieve key goals and objectives that drive long term growth for the organization. The Senior Director will have leadership responsibilities over a 2+ million sq ft fulfillment center including full P&L responsibility and employee leadership.
In this role, you will drive team execution of the defined operational plans, own fulfillment client P&Ls, deliver client satisfaction and financials (EBIT), and be responsible for growing and developing future talent.
Job Functions:
- Manage yearly budget and own monthly P&L
- Develop Operations Managers and Supervisors; Develop talent and site succession plans
- Own operational standardization and continuous improvement practices
- Develop and manage key client relationships
- Oversee all client implementations/upgrades/extensions from a strategic view and ensure seamless integration into the operation
- Build a culture of continuous improvement through execution of best practices, including safety, policy, and procedure adherence
- Provide direction and support to direct reports.
- Coach to ensure career development, productivity and quality objectives are consistently achieved
- Maintain a working knowledge of all operational processes, interact with senior management while providing updates and solutions on issues about business impact
- Engage with cross functional team for support to site operations

What You've Done:
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive Operations experience
- Financial/Cost Management and ownership via budget building
- 7+ years managing a 3PL fulfillment operation, ideally in ecommerce, direct to consumer, business to consumer (D2C/B2C) and of Wholesale Fulfillment Experience
- Experience leading culture improvements and/or transformation
- Experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodology
- Proactive, numbers, data and KPI driven mindset
- Leadership and Development experience
Top Candidates will also have:
- Fast paced, high volume, multi-client, unit-pick fulfillment center environment experience
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (ideally, Manhattan WMS and Pyramid WCS).
- Success during traditional holiday ‘peak' ecommerce
- Culture of improvement or transformation with continuous improvement experience.
