This will enable the broadening of distribution and attraction of new business from the under-insured gap in the mass/middle markets and new, underserved segments.Our Role:As a member of a first-line operational risk management team within a business unit, the Director of Operational Risk Management will be responsible for providing direction to the business unit in developing and maintaining an effective and efficient risk management program. Efforts are geared toward ensuring that operational risks when weighed against business opportunities are well managed and acceptable. This role will report directly to the Head of Risk Management, Individual Life Insurance.Promotes and builds strong risk management culture in Individual Life Insurance through strong engagement and relationship building with senior managementResponsibilities include resolving challenging, sensitive, and/or urgent risk issuesProviding Operational Risk support and advice to business partners, including facilitating assessments of strategic initiatives and ensuring appropriate controls are implementedApplies sound judgment in the evaluation of risks and controls. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
