Director, Operations Data and Project ManagementReporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Director of Operations Data and Project Management is responsible for all ERP related activities within supply chain activities, including but not limited to: materials requirements planning, item master data and governance, internal and external metric development, ERP operations processes and governance and operations master data change management for all of RS Operations. The individual will work collaboratively with the Operations teams with a focus on ERP optimization, corporate Supply Chain system standardization, plant ERP processes and related talent development projects. Essential FunctionsThe Director of Operations Data and Project Management ensures a seamless transition between ERP systems and processes and acts as a subject matter expert for all ERP operations departmental activities and formalized data change management. This individual contributor collaborates with operations personnel to establish standardized processes and methodologies that support the execution of the operating plans. The successful candidate must possess the ability to drive overall strategic and tactical organizational alignment and improvement across all operations functions; including but not limited to: plant processes, planning, forecasting, logistics inventory control, inventory performance, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and other collaborative efforts across business units. Responsibilities
- Lead specific regional projects to improve RiteScreen's inventory management practices (e.g. usage of excess inventory, blanking strategies, consignment, MRP development, plant and intra-plant processes, and other cross-functional processes as required).
- Develop control reports to ensure the on-going visibility of RiteScreen's financial obligations for inventory.
- Contribute to the formal S&OP process across RiteScreen
- Assist in the documentation of assumptions incorporated in the operational plans and validate past and forward-looking assumptions
- Drive alignment of demand planning, supply planning, and manufacturing teams (where applicable) to ensure RiteScreen's financial, operational, competitive and customer objectives are achieved. Lead the creation and implementation of the vision, policies, and practices of S&OP process
- Prepare data and material for monthly - operations meetings that facilitate decisions around operational issues, initiatives, and all other resources needed to support operational excellence.
- Collaborate across organizations to ensure appropriate data is available and accurate to be reviewed at the S&OP process meetings and establish RiteScreen's Supply plan
- As integral part of RiteScreen's key business process systems' selection, implementation, and execution, document, and share best practice methods, processes, and ideas across operations and other business functions to drive continuous improvements.
- Identify supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain before they become critical
- Support KPI development to measure the success and efficiency of the supply chain operations
- Develop projects plans as needed to support identified improvement opportunities
- Participate in selection of key leaders and in leadership development initiatives
- Support training and professional development of employees

Education, Experience, SkillsEducation:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus
Experience:
- 5-7 years Financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years project management experience in operational/manufacturing environment
- 7-10 years experience in procurement
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
- Experience with ERP systems, EPICOR preferred.
- Solid knowledge and experience in all operational disciplines, particularly in planning, procurement, logistics and integrated systems
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Able to present complex theoretical concepts and empirical performance data effectively to a variety of audiences
- Exhibits strong leadership skills with particular emphasis on relationship development
- Ability to communicate and present to multiple management levels.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel skills.
- Prior ERP implementations / improvement initiatives required
- Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred
- Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of industry best practices for S&OP, and value chain analytics
Travel Requirement: up to 25% Annually
