Position Summary...What you'll do... Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Fraud Prevention and Digital Identity. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our gig delivery platform from sophisticated fraud schemes and ensuring the integrity of our digital identity processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the tech and digital landscape, with a proven track record in fraud prevention and digital identity management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud prevention strategy tailored to the unique challenges of the gig delivery industry.
  • Identity Verification: Oversee the design and execution of robust identity verification processes to prevent the entry of drivers with fake IDs, stolen personal information, or sophisticated fraudulent documents.
  • Fraud Detection Tools: Lead the development and deployment of advanced fraud detection tools and technologies to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities in real-time.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance the applicant funnel with rigorous fraud checks and automated logic to streamline the onboarding process while minimizing false positives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all fraud prevention measures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining platform integrity.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of fraud prevention specialists and digital identity experts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to integrate fraud prevention measures seamlessly into the platform.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor, analyze, and report on fraud trends, providing actionable insights to continuously improve fraud prevention strategies.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration).
  • Extensive experience in fraud prevention, digital identity management, or a related field, preferably within the tech or gig economy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of identity verification technologies, fraud detection tools, and automated logic systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and strategy development.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to fraud prevention and digital identity.
