Rev Group is a veteran friendly employer and hires over 200 veterans and or those transferring out of the military each year.Position SummaryThe Director of Operations oversees daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production, safety, and environmental compliance. This role drives continuous improvement, optimizes resource use, and ensures production goals are met.Key Responsibilities:Collaborates with internal teams to align schedules and process improvements.Ensures a safe work environment and proper maintenance of the facility.Develops a skilled workforce to meet future operational demands.Organizational Relationships:Reports to the VP/GM.Directly supervises operations value stream managers, and the maintenance and environmental manager.Works closely with sales, materials, and engineering functions to meet company goals and objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Supports the business planning process, beginning with the production plan and continuing through MRPII closure to performance measurement.Supervises the production plan to ensure the attainment of the sales plan.Schedules materials and human resources to meet the production plan.Develops long- and short-range plans for the operations function, consistent with the company business plan.Ensures adherence to process disciplines per quality assurance procedures.Ensures the proper number and skill composition of the operations staff and production workforce.Oversees the proper maintenance of buildings and grounds.Ensures implementation of decisions made by the product improvement committee.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration.Ten+ (10+) years of manufacturing leadership experience.Previous experience in specialty or customized vehicle or chassis manufacturing preferred.Strong communication skills with the ability to present information to individuals and small groups.Advanced problem-solving and project management skills.Proven ability to lead a large workforce toward achieving company goals.Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred.Advanced PC skills, including MS Office Suite, MAPICS, and/or MRP.Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.Experience in implementing and directing environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.Physical Demands:Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, and reach with hands and arms.Frequently walks, stoops, kneels, or crouches.Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 40 pounds.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
