They will own and drive the design, development, and implementation of customer-centered sterile and non-sterile packaging systems with a critical focus on cost optimization, patient safety and sustainability. They will be highly visible and communicate/present frequently to VP's across R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Regulatory organizations. Key Responsibilities:The person in this position is accountable for the following:Deliver supply reliability for our patients through multi-franchise lifecycle management ownership including a base portfolio of work and CAPA's, Back-Order Mitigation, Quality/Compliance initiatives, etc.Anticipate, understand, and ensure compliance of J&J MTSC packaging solutions to continuously evolving regulationsDrive long-term continuous improvement strategies that deliver harmonization for packaging platform designs, testing requirements, material selection, specification development, execution steps, and output delivery leading to cost efficienciesSupport new product launches with sterile package designs driving ease of customer aseptic dispense, robustness during transport, minimizing waste and using more sustainable materialsBuild strong pipeline of talent and capability in project management, component development, and product requirement and manufacturing testingQualificationsRequired: Minimum Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or related field. MBA is preferredMinimum ten (10) years of relevant work experienceMinimum five (5) years of direct people leadership experienceProven excellence in communication, collaboration, and influencing across all levels of the organization in a highly-matrixed environmentMust possess fundamental technical, business, and financial savvyExperience in package development, new materials, and sustainability in a regulated industry (Medical Preferred)Experience in defining project and portfolio requirements, resource allocation, developing project timelines, and managing budgetary constraintsAbility to build and deploy robust visions and strategies in an ambiguous environment that are aligned to core business objectivesProven track-record of delivering results in a technical environmentPreferred:Portfolio pipeline development including business-case development and chartering processesUnderstanding of E2E supply chain and cost modelsSix Sigma Green or Black Belt CertificationPMP or other Portfolio Management CertificationOther:Proficiency in English requiredRequires up to 25% domestic & international travelThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.This job posting is anticipated to close on [03/4/2024]. The Company may however extend this time-period, in which case the posting will remain available on to accept additional applications.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year.
