Job Title: Director, Partnership Management - Commercial Products and New Payment Flows

Overview:

The NAM NEW PAYMENT FLOWS TEAM is accountable for growing our business in ACH, business, government, and commercial payment flows. This team works closely with GP&S product managers, platform owners, and account teams in the region to accelerate the commercialization of products and services that will significantly grow our revenue and market share in the region. We are looking for a payments professional to provide product and partner level support for the B2B partnership team.

Role Description:

The Director, Partnership Management, will be responsible for supporting and driving business initiatives across NAM for the Early Warning Services and The Clearing House relationships. Work closely with NPF product development, Send, Vocalink, and other teams to commercialize and advance our real-time payments and A2A payments strategy. Consult with assigned partners, US customer account managers and their respective bank customers, and internal product partners to assess and identify business needs to drive the overall partnership strategy/recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary relationship contact for EWS and TCH partnerships and secondary to other B2B partner relationships.
  • Facilitate discussions with partners and internal product groups to advance our new payment flow strategies across B2B including RTP, Send, and cross-border payments.
  • Consult with senior leaders at customers and internally to identify and promote complex and high-value business opportunities.
  • Develop customer marketing plans and work with sales teams to optimize partnership outcomes.
  • Monitor all product arrangements and negotiate terms of agreements.
  • Adhere to account management disciplines.
  • Work closely with product owners and go-to-market team to execute the NPF partners strategy.

  • Are you self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team and/or cross-functional environment?
  • Have you ever been a salesperson, technical sales specialist, or product manager for a complex payments product or service?
  • Do you have experience with corporate or business payments?
  • Have you worked closely with commercial issuing banks and/or treasury management organizations?
  • Do you have a passion for and knowledge/expertise of technology, payments, business payments; strong desire to always be learning?
  • Experience and Competencies:

  • Professional experience in financial services, cards, payments, or another related field.
  • Business Payments and Treasury Management knowledge.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking.
  • Internal and External Influencing/Value Selling.
