Position Overview

This role ideally is based in our Ashburn, VA (Sterling, VA) Data Center location. As the Director, People Experience for North America, you will act as the central point of contact for leaders, partnering with key functional groups within HR, including Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development, to drive and implement people team initiatives. Your role is pivotal in aligning human capital strategies with business goals through a focus on organizational design and change management.

You will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the company by facilitating effective leadership and organizational transformation across the region. This role must ensure alignment and application of best practices throughout the region, collaborate with other regions to ensure consistencies across Vantage where possible, and help define and build an employee experience strategy that focuses on career development and an effective employer branding initiative.

Essential Job FunctionsHR Business Partnering:
  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to assigned functional groups, driving and implementing people strategies in collaboration with HR partners such as Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development.
  • Act as the central point of contact for leaders to ensure alignment and ownership of People Experience initiatives, enabling them to effectively drive business results.
Organizational Design & Change Management:
  • Lead the development and execution of organizational design and change management initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Support leaders in driving organizational change, guiding them through transformations that enhance efficiency, culture, and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to trends in organizational design and change management, ensuring the company remains proactive in addressing challenges and opportunities in the evolving business landscape.
Employee Experience & Development:
  • Facilitate the design and implementation of initiatives that foster a positive employee experience, career development opportunities, and a strong employer brand in the North American region.
  • Partner with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams to deliver integrated HR solutions that support leadership development, talent management, and organizational growth.
Leadership Support & Coaching:
  • Coach and mentor managers and leaders, equipping them with the tools and strategies needed to lead effectively and drive organizational success.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency in HR practices and the effective implementation of global HR strategies in North America.
Culture & Engagement:
  • Support culture and engagement initiatives, including diversity and inclusion efforts, performance management, retention practices, and employee recognition programs.
  • Help define and build an employee experience strategy that focuses on career development and effective employer branding.
Additional Duties:
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Job RequirementsEducation:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on organizational design, change management, and strategic HR leadership.
Skills:
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with other HR functional groups to deliver integrated solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex HR concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities that balance business objectives with employee needs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with managing organizational change, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 25% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
