Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Marketing Strategist with a strong focus on Amazon Search and Display. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Amazon's advertising ecosystem and additional expertise in other retail media channels. This role demands a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture while also being willing to get hands-on to execute operational tasks when necessary as well as excellent communication and project management skills, as it is both client-facing and collaborative with our European office. The candidate will be responsible for the continued strategic development of top clients, with a focus on revenue growth and client retention. Key Responsibilities:•Lead and own the Amazon media strategy for 3-5 accounts as the Media Strategist. •Build and maintain strong client relationships, positioning yourself as the subject matter expert for Amazon and retail media performance marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement performance marketing strategies with a primary focus on Amazon Search (Sponsored Ads) and Display/Video (DSP).
  • Think beyond Amazon and enhance performance marketing strategies to other retail media channels like Walmart, Target, Sephora or Ulta.
  • Utilize your general knowledge of other digital media channels to create comprehensive, full-funnel marketing plans that drive consumer engagement both on and off Amazon.
  • Collaborate closely with the European office in Hamburg to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution across regions.
  • Work on strategic business approaches, presenting results, and managing client relationships effectively.
  • Drive thought leadership by staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in and/or lead RFPs and business reviews related to the brands we work with.
•Oversee new client onboardings to guarantee an optimal experience by setting clear expectations and deliverables for full-funnel advertising.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with team members across different functions and regions.
•Assist Account Lead and internal teams in enhancing client value through comprehensive and insightful strategies across commerce operations and media.
  • Maintain above-average communication and project management skills, ensuring all client-facing interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.

RequirementsQualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience working cross-collaboratively with teams to develop and evaluate paid media strategies across platforms
  • Proven experience in performance marketing with a strong emphasis on Amazon Search and Display for 1P/Vendor brands.
  • Experience in the Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) is a plus.
  • Additional knowledge of retail media and broader media channels is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to develop full-funnel marketing strategies that leverage various channels to enhance the consumer journey - additionally being able to interpret data and trends to derive insights that influence strategic approach.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset who can see the bigger picture but is also ready to handle operational tasks and onboard fundamentals on toolsets quickly
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Ability to work well in a team, question the status quo, and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with international teams, with high focus on the European office in Hamburg.
