Job Description:Thriving Fintech is seeking a Director of Pricing Strategy and Analytics to head strategic pricing initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to develop strategies and drive pricing decisions that maximize value and enable winning customers.Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness in the market.Effectively communicate pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions.Analyze market dynamics, competitor pricing, and customer segment performance to identify opportunities to capture a greater share of the market in a profitable way.Continuously refine and enhance our proprietary pricing algorithm based on evolving market dynamics and business needs, leveraging your strong analytical, quantitative, and coding skills. Conduct pricing analyses and simulations to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on conversion, revenue, and profitability.Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Sales, and Finance, to align pricing strategies with business objectives. Partner with the Technology team to successfully implement pricing strategies.Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 data scientists/data analystsRequirements:Bachelor s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field; Master s degree preferred.4+ Years experience in pricing analytics for a fintech or credit productSmall business lending product knowledge experience a plusStrong proficiency with Excel and Python programming is required.
