Our client is a business services firm. They seek a Director, Private Client Tax to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for internal and external clients

Manage a team of tax professionals working on client projects

Help manage risk and financial performance of engagements

Assess Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, etc. tax returns

Review supporting tax return work papers and documentation

Coordinate and prepare tax research and planning

Plan training content work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Stay up to date on relevant tax matters and new developments

Uphold professionalism and collaboration when working with clients

Develop potential opportunities for business development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred

6+ years of HNW complex tax experience

Some ptsp experience preferred

Public or combo accounting background

Real estate background preferred

CPA strongly preferred

Skilled in GoSystems is a plus
