Job Description

The Director of Visa Spend Clarity Enterprise (VSCE) is a pivotal role that requires a strategic partnership with Visa stakeholders to deliver expert product knowledge to our white label banks across North America. This position demands active participation in cohesive, cross-functional teams within Visa to nurture and sustain strategic relationships with VSCE white label clients, thereby delivering solutions that propel commercial card growth.

The Director of Visa Spend Clarity Enterprise (VSCE) will actively engage with clients to embody the voice of the customer , ensuring that client needs and perspectives are prioritized in our service delivery. They will collaborate with regional teams and sales departments to drive detailed discussions that aim to expand the use of VSCE, thereby fostering commercial card growth. With a deep understanding of the clients' broader relationships with Visa, including the use of other Visa products, the Director will focus on leveraging product-driven strategies to support commercial card growth.

Additionally, the Director will be responsible for promptly addressing and resolving any issues or escalations related to VSCE, upholding client satisfaction and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key Visa internal teams such as Account Management, Specialist Sales, and Regional Product to provide strategic VSCE Product support in North America.
  • Foster and maintain strong, trusting relationships with VSCE white label partner banks, focused on:
    • Gaining a deep understanding of their Commercial Card strategy.
    • Influencing their vision for card technology solutions, consistent with VSCE and other Visa product strategy focus areas.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the VSCE product strategy and roadmap to successfully position Visa Spend Clarity Enterprise in response to customer requirements.
  • Participate in regular joint executive meetings to review strategic partnership opportunities and communicate the VSCE community roadmap.
  • Work closely with the Spend Clarity Enterprise Product Leadership team to provide:
    • Market feedback (in consideration of benefit to the overall community) to assist with prioritization.
    • Input to solutions designs with a regional lens to ensure they are fit for purpose.
    • Insight to internal and external factors that impact overall client sentiment.
    • Inputs to commercialization decisions.
  • Lead the VSCE Product Consultants in North America, responsible for managing tactical outcomes like managing enhancement requests, testing and deployment of new features.
  • When required, provide testing and deployment support for new features and assist in coordinating activities between the Product and Service Delivery teams.
  • Contribute to proposal and contractual content.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications* 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of B2B payments with in-depth knowledge of virtual card payments, value-added solutions for corporates, payment tokenization, and issuer processing platforms/providers.
  • Extensive experience with modern API concepts, technical integration, and file delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead a range of initiatives end-to-end to meet client commitments with a customer-centric orientation.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex initiatives in a matrixed and distributed global organization.
  • Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and executive presence. Must be self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, and can influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adept strategic thinker, problem solver and results-oriented pragmatist.
  • Strong oral and written communications as well as influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, explore new ideas and be flexible with changing priorities.
  • Project Management experience with complex software solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team guidance and development.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 25-30% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,400.00 to 213,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
