Director, Product Management - Capital One Software (Remote-Eligible)

Capital One Software is seeking a Director of Product Management who is passionate about marrying innovation with emerging technologies. As a Capital One Director of Product Management you'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

Product Management

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas:

Human Centered

• Lead sourcing and synthesis of customer discovery efforts to understand customer needs to drive the long term vision for your product.
• Turn these customer insights into actionable strategies that will define the priorities for your team and rally your stakeholders to your vision.

Business Focused

• Own and prioritize the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes.
• Define KPIs for your product and be responsible for measuring and tracking those measures.

Technology Driven

• Have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem.
• Work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions.

Integrated Problem Solving

• Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes.
• Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate.

Transformational Leadership

• Rally your teams and senior stakeholders to your product vision.
• Attract and retain top talent to your team and mentor associates on their product career.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 7 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• MBA or Master's degree
• 5+ years of experience in Agile product management
• 5+ years of experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $233,100 - $266,000San Francisco and San Jose, California (Hybrid On-Site): $246,900 - $281,800Remote (Regardless of Location): $197,500 - $225,400Illinois (Hybrid On-Site): $217,300 - $248,000
