We are embarking on a mission to delight our customers and reshape how quality engineering is done across all surfaces and devices within Audible. This spirit courses throughout Audible, supporting a culture of creativity and inclusion built on our People Principles and our mission to build more equitable communities in the cities we call home.Basic QualificationsBachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related field7+ years of industry experience in quality assurance or software development4+ years of hands-on software testing and/or development experience with expertise in Test Automation and Continuous Delivery3+ years of experience managing quality engineering teams and developing technical direct reports (performance review communication, accountability, motivation/engagement)Experience with Native Application development tooling (Android and/or iOS SDKs)Experience in designing and building test tools and frameworksExperience working through others to accomplish the day-to-day work of the organizationPreferred QualificationsResults oriented and with a strong customer focusExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiencesExperience with test and behavior driven developmentExperience growing engineers and managers to scale with the needs of the organizationDemonstrated ability to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience defining and championing best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, build processes, testing, and operationsAction-oriented strategic thinkerDemonstrated ability to make risk aware tradeoffsExperience testing, debugging and supporting Audio Playback orientedNative applications on Android and/or iOSAble to thrive in an ambiguous environment where change is the only constantAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
