Job Description:

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Director, Quality Engineering. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.

Summary:

As a Director, Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for the direction and leadership Brewer Science's quality program. You will develop, implement, and manage projects and plans in universal support of Brewer Science quality program to achieve company objectives. You will effectively collaborate with Brewer Science suppliers to develop and provide a robust quality system, consistent manufacturing processes, and reliable sub-suppliers to accurately fulfill orders such that the suppliers reduce their production costs, eliminate product non-conformances, and improve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

* Ensures the health and safety of the personnel in the company.

* Ensures data integrity in support of manufacturing, product development, and customer support efforts.

* The role is responsible for ingraining quality as a core discipline into every aspect of the Technology organization.

* Works with Manufacturing to improve quality and consistency of manufacturing products and processes.

* Ensures measurement test equipment and methods in support of manufacturing drive continuous improvement while meeting customer requirements and needs regarding metrology

* Define and execute standards, methods and procedures to determine product release readiness by playing the role of customer advocate.

* Coordinate with project leaders, functional leaders, and support groups to ensure that analysis methods are relevant to BSI product performance and characterization and customer needs.

* Develops and directs the quality processes that affect supplier sourcing and development.

* Responsible for intermediate-range planning with a one- to three- year timeline that is designed to support and meet the corporate strategic plan.

* Focuses on and provides professional leadership, along with the other directors, in planning, development and execution of organizational strategy globally and provide clear direction on business plans, operations and objectives.

* Ensuring the group strategies and operations are connected and not conflicting; this includes cross-functional coordination of group priorities and alignment of resources, including talent.

* Formulate and administer policies and procedures that have companywide impact and/or significant impact on the company's bottom line and corporate culture.

* Forecast and submit budget requirements and monitors financial performance against budget.

* Stands up and does what is right, event when no one is watching

* Leads by displaying value-driven behavior and setting an example that others can emulate.

* Attend Monthly Planning Meetings/Strategic Planning and complete Monthly Reports/Corporate Scorecard to understand, communicate and drive business growth and direction

* Identify strategic gaps/opportunities within the organization and pose potential solutions

* Align and be accountable for group KPIs and metric goals; funnel to managers/depts, to ensure compliance and integrity in our business decisions and plans

* Support people success within group, with a goal to drive succession and workforce planning for group and identify future resource/competency needs

* Build cross-functional partnerships and collaborate with Executive Directors to influence the direction and success of Brewer Science,

* Evaluate and monitor EH&S metrics in group; champion process improvement

* Participate in monthly director meetings to collaborate with other directors and share knowledge, expertise as well as seek support and guidance.

Education & Credentials:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and

* 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, with 6+ years progressive leadership experience or

* An equivalent combination of education and experience.

* A master's degree is preferred
