Role Summary

As a lead AI R&D product development you will be at the forefront of the Communication Solutions Group (CSG) AI, data-driven strategy. You will lead the vision, roadmap and operating model for AI value creation to drive business growth, operational efficiency and innovation. Leading the strategic direction, design and implementation of AI-driven products.

We are looking for a highly skilled AI R&D product manager to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative AI/ML solutions for our next-generation design and test products, including enabling 6G technologies. You will tackle complex technical challenges, leveraging your expertise in AI product development, deep learning, predictive modeling, and algorithm development to create impactful solutions.

Your responsibilities will include leading the design and maintenance of AI product development roadmaps, spearheading the development of state-of-the-art AI product development solutions. You will guide and inspire a team of engineers, ensuring the seamless integration of AI/ML solutions into our products and driving significant improvements in business metrics and user engagement.

We seek a self-motivated individual with strong R&D product development skills, hands-on experience with launching and scaling AI products and a passion for developing intuitive, well-architected, and maintainable software tools. Responsibilities

• Leading the design and execution of the business product roadmaps and operating models for AI value creation to drive business growth, operational efficiency and innovation.
• Leading R&D team consisting of AI product development engineers. You will drive product development timelines, manage budgets and oversee resource allocation.
• Facilitating communication with stakeholders, ranging from customers to internal leadership, to ensure alignment with customer needs and drive successful outcomes.
• Championing a customer-centric approach, understanding and prioritizing customer needs (before they do!), and effectively conveying these insights to development teams.
• Inspiring and challenging development teams to achieve ambitious goals sustainably, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in SW development with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in guiding AI product development engineers either technically or managerially.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling AI products.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and budget control.
• Ability to navigate complex ecosystems and drive impactful partnerships.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Santa Clara, CA pay range: MIN $197,890 - MAX $329,890

Santa Rosa, CA pay range: MIN $180,360 - MAX $300,590

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
