Job OverviewThis position partners with business leaders to develop strategies and execute transactions for the acquisition, disposition, relocation, and on-going management of Hubbell Incorporated's global real estate portfolio (owned and leased manufacturing, warehouse, office, and other support facilities). This position also provides project management support, including the coordination of brokers, architects, engineers, and other real estate advisors and has overall responsibility to drive strategic initiatives to deliver continuous improvement.#LI-SL1A Day In The LifeLead all transactions associated with Hubbell's global real estate portfolio.Vision and Strategy Development: Work with senior leadership to develop and maintain a vision for the real estate program within Hubbell. This involves creating innovative and forward-thinking plans to drive growth and unlock value.Develop, maintain, and communicate a 3-year strategic market plan that aligns with Hubbell's overall strategic plan.Partner with Hubbell business leaders and functional stakeholders to develop strategies for the acquisition, disposition, relocation, and on-going management of Hubbell's global real estate portfolio.Develop and execute a real estate focused acquisition due diligence program. Lead real-estate due diligence activities for applicable acquisition targets.Act as the project lead and single point of contact for all parties involved in Hubbell's real estate transactions. This includes the coordination of brokers, architects, engineers, and other real estate advisors, in the acquisition and relocation of manufacturing, sales, warehouse and support facilities.Partner with Hubbell's attorneys on the drafting and negotiation of real estate documents.Establish, maintain, and communicate robust metrics and KPIs related to the Real Estate Program.Monitor critical dates and coordinate with Hubbell business leaders and functional stakeholders to respond to lease provisions including expirations, early terminations, and purchase options.Manage the real estate management system (Sequentra) used to maintain information on all owned and leased properties.Provide research for leased and owned properties including assessments, market data, building conditions, utilizing public databases and internal documents.Develop and maintain MS Power BI dashboards on Hubbell's real estate portfolio.Lead strategic department initiatives to deliver continuous improvement.What will help you thrive in this role?Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university is requiredMinimum of 12 years' experience in corporate or investment real estateStrong knowledge of commercial real estate documents and the leasing processHigh degree of project management, communication skills, and attention to detailStrong critical thinking and negotiating skillsExperience with a real estate management system (such as Sequentra)Proficiency in PC based software including MS Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Master's degree in a related business / real estate field from an accredited college or university is a plusReal estate experience within a national or multinational corporation or industrial industry a plusCursory knowledge of environmental matters as it relates to real estate is a plusWillingness to travel as needed (less than 25%)Hubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
