Our entire team is committed to providing levels of patient satisfaction and overall clinical outcomes that far exceed the expectations of the medical community, referring physicians, and our customers.Job Summary: The Director of Real Estate and Project Management will lead and oversee the expansion of our clinics and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) from site selection through to preparation for patient operations. The role will manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring that all new sites are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in healthcare project management, with a preference for experience in ASC operations. The Director will play a pivotal role in guiding projects to successful completion, aligning project goals with strategic business objectives, and effectively communicating progress with key stakeholders.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all de novo clinic and ASC expansion projects from site selection to the final stages of preparation for patient care - requires travel to multiple states
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including project planning, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning of new sites.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and contractors to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of each project.
  • Supervise project team leads, ensuring effective coordination of activities and timely resolution of any project-related challenges.
  • Coordinate the site selection process, evaluating potential locations based on strategic objectives, demographic studies, and operational needs.
  • Work closely with brokers, architects, engineers, and other external partners to secure and finalize the best locations for new clinic and ASC projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing project scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and other functional teams.
  • Regularly report on the status of each project, highlighting milestones, budget performance, and any potential risks or delays.
  • Communicate effectively with external partners, including contractors, vendors, and consultants, to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide updates on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability across all involved parties.
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring that project teams are adequately staffed and equipped to meet project requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to construction, zoning, permitting, and other project-related challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all phases of the project.
  • Work with legal and regulatory teams to secure the necessary permits and approvals for construction and operation.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction management, ensuring that building projects are completed according to specifications, within timelines, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Ensure that construction activities meet all relevant safety codes, building regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in construction, design, or execution promptly to avoid delays.
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Approve and manage expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking against budget.

  • Ability to travel to all clinic/ASC locations throughout multiple states; traveling up to 25% of the time to support key initiatives, and project requirements.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, AIA) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on real estate development and construction, ideally within the healthcare or ASC industry.
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (or higher) required.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Experience with ASC or healthcare facility design and operations is highly preferred.
