SCOPE OF ROLEReporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Residential Services will provide daily management, supervision, leadership, training, policy and procedure development and implementation for all Signature Health Residential Services. You will be responsible for preparing, updating and administering the policies and procedures of all program operations; maintaining open lines of communication with the governing/funding authorities to insure appropriate compliance practices, quality assurance activities/outcomes, management of necessary services provided, and for the purposes of performing public relations/marketing operations for all Signature Health Residential Centers. HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED
  • Effectively manage and oversee clinical operations, administrative, quality assurance, coordination and implementation of services provided at all of the residential facilities.
  • Be actively engaged when overseeing your team member's individual performance which should include ongoing coaching, development, and meeting objectives through the annual review process.
  • Lead by example by provide ongoing communication, teaching, and training to team members.
  • Actively lead team meetings and process improvement initiatives to continuously improve work productivity, quality and efficiency of the team.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet/exceeds OMHAS, CARF, and HRSA standards to obtain and maintain licensure in good standing.
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with CARF, OMHAS, HRSA and professional standards.
  • Manage required documentation to comply with regulatory requirements and facilitate smooth transitions of residential clients' admissions and discharges.
  • Participate in all Quality Assurance and Utilization Review activities.
  • Collaborate and coordinate services with County ADAMHS Boards, care providers, referral sources, courts, and other community stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear and constant communications occur between residential and outpatient treatment teams, referents, guardians and family members, designated liaison persons, and external agencies
  • Monitor and enforce clients' rights and confidentiality, and ensure high ethical standards.
  • Ensure that all services are evidence-based.
  • Working from a systems framework, consult with medical providers to develop assessment and treatment protocols as well as designing training programs for providers.
  • Provide consultation and development of integrated delivery systems in care coordination.
  • Create and implement schedule of programming and events.
  • Monitor and report on staff productivity and performance.
  • Provide staff with client-outcome data and other information needed for funding applications and support with relevant grant writing projects.
  • Oversee hiring, supervising, promoting, rewarding and managing performance of Residential staff.
  • Lead by example by provide ongoing communication, teaching, and training to team members.
  • Actively lead team meetings and process improvement initiatives to improve continuously work productivity, quality and efficiency of the residential team.
  • Oversee and manage the opening of any new Signature Health residential facilities.
  • Create, maintain and monitor business functions of team, including but not limited to, staffing budgets, marketing and performance improvement activities.
  • Oversee ordering of necessary supplies and oversee and inventory control system.
  • On-Call for emergencies reported by residential managers, supervisors and other staff.
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
  • Maintain all aspects of HIPAA, promoting patient confidentiality and right to privacy.
  • May be required to perform remote services as determined by Signature Health.
  • Travel to multiple sites (tri-county area), required
  • Adherence and completion of compliance training provided by Signature Health.
  • Responsible for and completes all productivity/documentation requirements.
  • Participate in all assigned staff meetings and staff development programs.
  • Demonstrate appropriate attendance and punctuality in adherence with Signature Health policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
RequirementsKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, mental health or a related field required.
  • Valid unencumbered independent Counseling license in the state of Ohio required.
  • 5 years' of progressive leadership experience in residential and/or inpatient hospital or outpatient ambulatory center required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of chemical dependency and its treatment processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/clinical work environment.
  • While hours of operation are generally standard, flexibility to work evenings and extended hours may be required.
  • Requires periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work.
  • Hearing: adequate to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
  • Speaking: adequate to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
  • Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
  • Physical effort required: occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds, unassisted.
  • Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens while performing job duties.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular workday.
  • Sufficient dexterity to operate a PC and other office equipment.
