Job SummaryTexas State University located in San Marcos, Texas, is seeking a Director of Retail Dining Services. This position offers an ideal work-life balance, as well as career growth opportunities In this role you will direct the day-to-day operations and financial success of multiple food service retail locations on campus. You will support the overall success of the food service operation. This includes adhering to the client's culture and guidelines, the Health Department's regulations, and company's standards/policies, and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs the day-to day food service operation of multiple retail locations, which includes national branded conceptsSupervises day-to-day work activities of managers, supervisors and food service workersMaintains client and customer satisfaction for food quality and customer serviceSupervises the hiring, training and development of frontline staffCompletes all daily, weekly, or financial reportsImplements and maintains cash handling processes and standardsEnsures all QA and sanitation standards are maintained Contributes to the development of the website and updates social media platforms with new programs/promotionsPerforms other duties as assignedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferredThree to five years of foodservice operation experienceHigh volume production and catering experience is essentialPrevious experience managing a budgetDesire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company Apply to Chartwells Higher Education todayChartwells Higher Education is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
