Job Description:

Position Summary:

Director, SAP Application will act as the product owner for SAP Application and ensure SAP application team is responsible for meeting with stakeholders for requirements gathering, perform fit/gap analysts against SAP ECC software and lead necessary change(s) to meet business requirements. The Director, SAP Application will be an integral part in supporting our facilities and lead our offshore L2 support team. The Director - SAP Application will act as mentor, also be a change agent and introduce industry best practices and keep up with the broader evolving technology landscape.

Essential Functions:

* Owns SAP Application and all FD facilities

* Responsible for gathering business requirements and developing detailed process flows

* Responsible for SAP/WMS integration and SAP and StoreFront Integration

* Act as direct liaison with Operations and the project team to ensure system requirements, deadlines and priorities are clear and attained

* Responsible for performing FIT/GAP analysis and provide solutions for Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement and Warehouse application for Express facilities that can be achieved by configuration.

* Lead functional design, configuration, testing and deployment for all the relevant components and work in conjunction with SAP to develop and test gaps

* Steer business team members to adopt industry best practices and standard SAP ECC solutions as much as possible

* Work closely with the SAP team on functional specifications that cannot be accomplished using standard SAP ECC Functionality

* Perform technical trouble shooting to resolve system issues

* Responsible for supporting SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PP, SAP WM

* Ensure that support SLAs are met based on issue severity and escalation procedure is followed

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education

* Ten plus (10+) years of experience in implementing and/or supporting SAP ERP ECC or higher software

* Seven plus years of overall related work experience in SAP Software design or development

* Experience in integrating SAP with external system using EDI/ Idoc

* Must have in-depth SAP configuration and solution experience including MM, SD, FI/CO, PP and WM

* Must have participated in at least one (1) prior SAP ECC ERP implementation end-to-end

* Experience in food industry is preferred (i.e. Catch Weight Management, Shelf Life Management, Lot Management, Variable Case Size, UOMs, etc)

* Experience in integrating SAP with Manhattan WMS is preferred

* SAP Process Orchestration experience preferred

* SAP archiving experience preferred

* Prior experience in managing offshore team preferred

* Able to provide solutions to complex business challenges for area of responsibility where analysis of situation requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives

* Comfortable juggling and coordinating multiple projects across several key channels simultaneously

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver insights and findings effectively

* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

* Must be detail orientated with optimal organizational skills, with a focus on teamwork, project management and follow-up

* Proven ability to make decisions that has a lasting impact on area of responsibility

* Manages matrix teams

* Great cross functional collaborator

* Able to consistently deliver projects on time with quality

* Certification in APICS (CSSP) is desired

* The job is onsite based at our Bronx, NY or Woodbridge, NJ offices (flexible)
