To learn more and see what we've been up to, follow Elevate on X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.POSITION SUMMARY:Elevate is seeking a Senior/Manager of Group Ticket Sales to lead and support a new project with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) focused on driving group ticket sales and revenue for Championship Events. This role is a hybrid position, combining both sales and management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will manage one group seller while collaborating with the Vice President of Property Sales to develop and oversee a comprehensive group sales campaign strategy for ACC Championship Events.The successful candidate will be a proven group ticket sales expert, with a deep understanding of the sales process, strong communication skills, and the ability to create and execute long-term growth strategies for the project.KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the group ticket sales team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive group sales strategies to optimize ticket revenue for ACC Championship Events.
- Establish clear sales goals and performance metrics, regularly assessing progress and making necessary adjustments to drive success.
- Proactively build, nurture, and maintain relationships with larger organizations that can yield high group ticket sales and revenue metrics for ACC Championship Events.
- Effectively communicate and provide ongoing training and support to reinforce the group sales process and best practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback to enhance both individual and team effectiveness.
- Represent the ACC in the community by attending events and networking opportunities to promote ACC Championship Events and cultivate new business.
- Collaborate with marketing and events teams to develop promotional campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
- Monitor team performance against established goals, tracking key metrics such as outbound calls, appointments, and sales conversions.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution of group sales initiatives and a positive customer experience.
- Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or sport management or some other related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the professional or colleague sports industry.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding group sales goals and developing effective sales strategies, with the ability to clearly articulate the group sales process.
- Working knowledge of Archtics and Ticketmaster ticketing systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong active listening abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Possess a contagiously positive attitude with the ability to lead and inspire team members.
- Strong team player with a demonstrated capacity to share insights and perspectiveswith upper management
