This role involves overseeing the entire quality assurance process, from planning and executing tests to managing the automation framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.- Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive automation testing strategy, including the selection of tools, frameworks, and best practices.- Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the creation and execution of automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of all product features.- Quality Assurance Processes: Establish and maintain QA processes and standards, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.- Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key quality metrics, providing regular reports to leadership on the status of testing efforts and product quality.- Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation testing, continuously seeking ways to improve QA processes and tools.Qualifications•Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role focused on automation.•Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
