Business development is an essential component of Nona Biosciences to continue to build important relationships, expand business, form strategic partnerships, and increased profitability. With the new business transformation of Harbour technologies, the global BD team is in urgent need for a senior business development region head to support global lead generation, manage customer information data base, help with internal infrastructure establishment, and support branding and marketing activities. This position will significantly increase the efficiency of the business development activities in west coast in particular for new lead generation and new business branding.
Responsibilities
- Work with the BD team to develop and implement marketing and BD strategies for platform licensing and antibody discovery services.
- Help find, generate, and manage business opportunities with biotech or pharmaceutical company partners who need Harbour Mice technologies or antibody discovery support.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, help to setup exhibit booths and identify branding opportunities.
- Help to evaluate alliance and partnership trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
- Expected to be able to work both independently and lead a team.
- Build and expand a business reference network to help grow and develop new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- 8 years + of business development and/or sales experience in life sciences/biopharmaceutical industry.
- Master's degree or above in scientific disciplines preferably in life sciences. or Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of lab experiences or working at a CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical companies.
- Good knowledge of biopharmaceutical drug discovery, CRO market as well as biotech industry is preferred.
- Experiences of antibody discovery lab work or business development is a big plus.
