About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Strategic Initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategy & Planning, this role will be integral in supporting key strategic initiatives, helping to streamline processes, and driving efficiency within Ferrero North America.
Main Responsibilities: - Strategic Plan Development: Assist in the strategic planning process by gathering data, enhancing insights, and supporting the development of data-driven recommendations for commercial and functional business areas. Organize strategic plan presentations and Capex submissions.
- Strategic Plan Execution: Partner with the SVP Strategy & Planning in ensuring effective execution of the Strategic Plan. Organize and manage the agenda for the Ferrero Business Cycle, ensuring efficient scheduling, follow-ups, and action item tracking. Assist in the creation and tracking of executive scorecards with key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned to business objectives.
- Strategic Alignment and Executive Communication: Prepare presentations and reports for senior executives, facilitating effective communication for strategic decision-making. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key initiatives. Support strategic activities and processes that impact North American leadership.
- Project Management: Lead strategic projects to solve key business challenges. Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
- Capability Building: Support efforts to identify and deploy internal and external capabilities that enhance organizational effectiveness. Conduct benchmarking to identify best practices.
Who we are looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in roles focused on strategic planning, business operations, or project management, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
- 2+ years of top-tier strategy consulting experience highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills. Demonstrates excellent process orientation. Extremely structured and organized.
- Strong analytical skills. At ease with numbers and demonstrates attention to detail. High learning agility.
- Excellent presentation building skills. Ability to structure abstract information and develop high quality presentation decks, brings a strategic mindset to the business.
- Excellent communication skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptionally strong emotional maturity, navigates the organization with tact, builds trusting relationships at all levels of the organization.
