IMG also specializes in licensing, sports training, and league development.The Role and What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the sale of brand partnership (sponsorship) opportunities across the R&A's portfolio, most notably The Open and AIG Women's Open (professional championships).
- Deliver against an agreed GTM strategy, unlocking the significant commercial potential of the R&A's assets in the US, maximizing sales, and achieving the revenue targets set.
- Requirement to gain a deep understanding of the R&A's business and strategy, working with individual stakeholders to deliver against strategy and objectives.
- Forward thinking, creative, and always looking for new opportunities to attract new partners and maximize investment for existing partners.
- Working across and within the IMG and Endeavor network.
- Research industries, brands, and product categories most relevant to the R&A's vision and brand pillars.
- Build and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities, effectively connecting with senior decision-makers from target brands.
- Understand the sponsorship and sport marketplace, adapting the sales process accordingly.
- Work with Golf's in-house creative team to deliver compelling presentations.
- Prioritize opportunities that deliver the greatest revenue potential.
- Maintain strong communication and reporting across the partnership.
- Experience working internationally and specifically in the US, with strong golf experience and a proven sales background.You Have These:
- Demonstrable relevant experience.
- An extensive network of senior client relationships.
- Demonstrable experience of developing high-value, consultative, solution-focused marketing programmes.
- Capable of thinking creatively with a commercially driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proven experience of sales in business, having both initiated and executed mid to high-value sales.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills.Travel:
